ZED Engineering is well prepared to work upon engineering & design of the power distribution networks including distribution transformers, switchboards, switchgears and motor control centres (MCCs).
The required engineering & design tasks ZED covers are:
• to carry out the load demand studies in order to identify the size of transformer.
• to identify the suitable type of transformer based on clients' requirements.
• to identify the size of transformer considering essential correction factors.
• to perform the load flow study and short circuit analysis.
• to prepare the specifications / data sheets for power distribution equipment.
• to prepare the material requisitions / technical bid evaluations / vendor selection.
The different type of power distribution equipment which can be used in projects are as follows:
• Oil Immersed Transformers.
• Dry Type Transformers.
• Metal Enclosed Medium Voltage Switchboards.
• Fixed / Withdrawable Low Voltage Switchgears.
• Fixed / Modular / Withdrawable Low Voltage MCCs.
ZED uses ETAP to perform the load flow study and short circuit analysis. The results and reports can be generated in different formats.
HSE (Health, Safety & Risk, and Environment) is ZED's major concern in all projects which will not be compromised with anything else.
ZED is committed to perform all engineering & design tasks in compliance with international standards & codes, as well as national rules & regulations based on clients' requirements.
