ZED Engineering believes that lighting design is a combination of art and science. In other words, lighting design is a scientific art, which requires a good knowledge of light physics and an artistic mind.

Apart from beauty aspects in lighting design, the other factor that needs to be taken into consideration is photo-pollution. The lighting design shall not compete with starlight in the night sky, and / or interfere with astronomical observatories, or disrupt ecosystems.

ZED is specialised in providing lighting design services for the following purposes:

ZED uses different lighting tools and programmes for lighting design. These programmes are flexible tools which provide a variety of different lighting fixtures and fittings from different manufacturers.
Lighting design tools provide a close to reality view of the project to see the results in a 3D picture.

HSE (Health, Safety & Risk, and Environment) is ZED's major concern in all projects which will not be compromised with anything else.
